Our Beginnings

Northern Tree Service (Groveland), a subsidiary to Northern Tree Services, LLC, as Palmer, MA based company, has been serving the North Shore area of Boston since 1962. We take great pride in the quality of our work, our safety record, and our customer satisfaction and retention. Northern's long list of certifications and membership affiliations with the major tree health and maintenance organizations domestically and internationally is a testament to our long-standing expertise.

Our crew leaders are veteran tree workers and arborist, many of whom have twenty plus years experience or more. Because we have a long history of working with utility companies such as National Grid, Eversource and Keyspan Energy Company, our crews have the benefit of in-depth, industry-specific, professional safety and best management practices (BMP) training, CPR and first-aid training, and electrical hazard awareness training (EHAP), as well as on-going professional tree care training using the established standards of the Tree Care Industry Association's (TCIA) training modules.
